The
Hettasch family is dealing with a multitude of medical issues
relating to their three beautiful daughters. Lindsay is
in a wheelchair, due to severe cerebral palsy and seizures.
Hannah, Lindsays twin sister, suffers from a seizure
disorder, anxiety and developmental delays. Lauren, the
eldest sister, had received treatment for Sensory Integrative
Dysfunction. All of this has left the family with soaring
medical bills and expenses that will extend far into the
future.
A Note About The Hettasch Sisters:
Lindsay
is 7 years old. She was born at 32 weeks gestation with
a myriad of problems. She has been diagnosed with microcephaly
(abnormally small head), quadriplegic cerebral palsy and
Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, (a severe form of epilepsy). This
has left Lindsay without the ability to sit, walk or talk.
Her communication skills are extremely limited and her needs
are many. She inspires all with her courage and welcoming
smile.

Hannah is Lindsays identical twin sister. Though
Hannahs diagnosis is not as severe, her issues include
a seizure disorder, speech and developmental delays, ADHD
and severe anxiety. She receives services through specialists
and her school district. Hannah is quite a swimmer at the
local Y and she likes to play with her friends.
